When the Wimberley Playhouse
needed help sprucing up their
property, I volunteered to flip burgers
for the clean-up crew. I thought my
"Sweeny Todd" apron the perfect
fashion accessory for serving my little
"meat pies" to this theatre crowd!

Tamalada in November 2003 and
learned how to make tamales
from scratch. Then they had their
own tamalada and shared the
experience with their friends and
family! Thanks for the photos Fay.

For a big Texas
"Welcome," a friend
put gift baskets in the
guest rooms for her
daughter's wedding. I
made 500 large Texas
shaped cinnamon
cookies. Jimmy Harwell
made the brand for me
with the initial of the
bride & groom. Once I
got the hang of it, I
only had to eat a few
mistakes.
That's a Tomato!
Seventeen members and two grand-daughters of The
Red Razzle Dazzles visited CasiNada Cooks! on June
19th, 2008 for a cooking demonstration. Everyone
enjoyed the food prepared in class and gave me my
own "toque rouge." This fun and lively group is one of
several chapters of The Red Hat Society in Wimberley.
